Postponed Event: 30 years of the Raine Study Celebration
Date and time
Location
HBF Stadium
100 Stephenson Avenue Mount Claremont, WA 6010 AustraliaDescription
It is with a heavy heart that the Board and Directors of the Raine Study have decided to postpone our 30-year celebration event scheduled for 1 May 2020 due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision to postpone the event to next year, 30 April 2021, was made with the health and safety of our participants, researchers and staff in mind, and is consistent with the recent Australian Government decision to ban all non-essential gatherings of large groups of people.
Thank you for your understanding. We will be in contact with you regarding other initiatives to recognise our 30th year and in the lead up to the event next year. We look forward to celebrating the many achievements of the Raine Study with you all.
We wish you all the very best and encourage you to follow the advice and guidance of health authorities in the coming weeks and months, including the need to wash hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes, staying home when unwell and adopting social distancing.

The Raine Study, established in 1989, is one of the largest prospective cohorts of pregnancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood to be carried out anywhere in the world.
The Raine Study has grown to be a multi-generational study. We have followed a group of young adults from before they were born and throughout their life. Their families are also part of the study, with their children, their parents and their grandparents now also involved in our research.
The rich data collected on each Raine Study participant is being used by researchers all over the world to better understand, and improve, human health and quality of life.
